Welcome to the website of Turner Fenton IB! Since July 1997 Turner Fenton Secondary School has been an IB World School and it currently offers the IB Middle Years Programme and IB Diploma Programme.
About us
IB has been created and administered by the International Baccalaureate Organization which aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the IBO works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes on international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people with their differences can also be right.
Turner Fenton Secondary School offers an ideal setting for students to pursue the IB programme. The administration and staff seek to support students in their pursuit of academic excellence, extra-curricular acheivement, citizenship and most importantly personal growth. Perhaps it is for this reason that many of our graduates can be found attaining success in various fields. In brief, Turner Fenton IB is a unique program with a special community of outstanding students and dedicated staff.
